Hugh Robinson - A Prisoner of War Story 1939 to 1945 by Gavin Fryer RDP FRPSL

In 2019 Gavin acquired a small bundle of WW2 material which included three small format exercise books recording the correspondence received and sent by Hugh Robinson, a British Army officer prisoner of war. With his trademark research adding much background detail, Gavin tells the story of Hugh Robinson’s war through his letters, postcards and Red Cross parcels featuring prunes!
Unfortunately, Gavin passed away before he had completed his final pieces of research, however the trustees of The Stuart Rossiter Trust felt that this story should be told and, with the agreement of Gavin’s family, are pleased to publish this book.
